How is a dry steam treatment performed?

Exterminating bed bugs by heat means exposing them to a temperature between 70 to 80°C. It is in this interval that the heat is fatal for these insects. With the bed bug steam treatment, the pests are subjected to a temperature still 3 times higher than the lethal level. They immediately become dehydrated, their blood clots and their internal organs are destroyed, which eliminates any chance of survival.
Steam treatment can be applied to all potential bed bug hiding places: Places where eggs, nymphs and adults have been observed and places where an infestation is suspected.
